Auburn University's health disparities research graduate program in the Department of Nutritional Sciences focuses on nutrition-related health disparities in underserved populations. Students examine social, economic and environmental factors influencing health, with an emphasis on nutrition's role in chronic disease prevention and health promotion.


Working with faculty experts in nutrition epidemiology, maternal and child nutrition and food systems, students conduct research that directly improves health outcomes.
