The fire in Lowder Hall has been extinguished. Classes in Lowder are cancelled for today, 6/27/2016, while damages are assessed. No other buildings are affected and all campus roads are open. College of Business Dean Bill Hardgrave will be working with the Provost today to find a temporary location for scheduled classes.
6:40 a.m.
Lowder Hall will remain closed on Monday due to an early morning fire. Classes in Lowder are canceled for the day, and employees who work in the building should not report to work today. The parking lot behind the building is also closed. War Eagle Way has been reopended for employees who work in other buildings. The Auburn Fire Division is still responding to the fire at this hour.
