Faculty and staff invited to workshop on generative AI

Are you curious about generative artificial intelligence, or AI, like ChatGPT or DALL-E, but don’t know where to start? Do you want to think about how these technologies might impact your teaching, research, or creative scholarship? University Writing and the Innovation and Research Commons are here to help!

On Tuesday, Aug. 1 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. a generative AI workshop will be hosted in 3011 RBD Library. During this hands-on event, facilitators will lead a structured activity to familiarize participants with the capabilities and limitations of freely available generative AI tools, as well as Adobe Express (free to everyone at AU). After experimenting with these technologies, participants will reflect on their implications for teaching, learning and professional activity. Please register in advance.
