United Way information

The Mission of the United Way of Lee County is to increase the organized capacity of people to care for one another. One of the ways that we do this in our community is by generating and applying the necessary resources to meet the needs of the community, recognizing that meeting basic human needs should be the overriding consideration in all decisions.

Goal for 2022-2023: $140,000
President Chris Roberts

Auburn is in the business of helping people reach their hopes and dreams. Today, I’m encouraging you to consider an opportunity to participate in our recently launched United Way campaign.

Selfless service to those around us is a central theme of our mission. This year, the Auburn Family is being asked to score a big win for the community by helping to reach our campus’ fundraising goal of $140,000. As the largest employer in Lee County and having been recognized by Forbes as the best in-state employer, Auburn is primed to do all it can to have a large impact on its community and state. All total, this year’s campaign will involve 31 campuswide coordinators representing each college and department. To contribute to the cause, Auburn employees can obtain a pledge card from their respective area’s United Way representative.

With everyone pulling together, regardless of the amount of the gift, Auburn can make a huge difference in our community and beyond. To learn more about the United Way of Lee County, go here.

Thanks for considering making a pledge to help meet our community’s most urgent needs.
