Our annual trips abroad offer students and faculty the opportunity to enjoy unforgettable experiences, provide crucial services to various global communities and simultaneously broaden their horizons while in pursuit of their chosen field of study. Travel to Ghana in Summer 2025 with the Office of Outreach Global for an unforgettable two-week service-learning experience from June 3 - 16. This intensive, hands-on program offers you a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of local Ghanaians while also enriching your academic and personal life.
Auburn University’s Office of Outreach Global, in collaboration with the Harbert College of Business, presents the 2025 Success Through Entrepreneurship Program with Technology (STEP-TECH) to empower youth and female micro-entrepreneurs in Benin. The program aims to enhance participants' awareness of STEM careers and educational opportunities in the United States.

Service-learning trips in Tanzania with a focus on civic education provide students the chance to explore the country’s history and cultural significance while making an impact in underserved communities.

Experiencing the Swahili culture, language and customs offered a rich insight into East African history and traditions. The East African slave trade sites, such as Bagamoyo and Zanzibar locations, provided a poignant understanding of the historical injustices faced by African ancestors and offered a space for reflection and education.
The Auburn Outreach Global Medical trip in Athens, Greece was an incredible experience that I won’t ever forget…I enjoyed getting to collaborate with students/faculty from the pharmacy, forestry, education and biomedical science majors while serving abroad.
Taking this trip to Africa and seeing the different perspectives opened up a whole new view of life for me. Being able to provide basic healthcare to individuals who didn’t have access was very fulfilling and it made my heart truly happy.
