Bang Truong is originally from Vietnam. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in pharmacy in 2017 and joined the Ph.D. program in Health Outcomes Research and Policy at the Auburn University Harrison College of Pharmacy. His research interests are using observational data to generate causal estimates of population-level effects of medication use, conduct patient-level predictions using machine learning. He is also interested in exploring healthcare resource utilization and economic burden of pharmacological interventions.
