If you are reading this page, you have a concern that you want to report. We know this looks like a lot of options. Don't worry if you select the wrong one. The staff in Auburn Cares and Student Conduct work closely with university officials across campus to ensure the reports are routed quickly and correctly to the appropriate unit.
Faculty, staff, students, and guests are encouraged to refer students who are struggling with academic, personal, or emotional difficulties, or who may be exhibiting hostile, worrisome or other concerning behaviors. Refer a studentStudent Conduct handles non-academic policy violations, including Code of Student Conduct and Residence Life Community Standards violations. Use this form to report behaviors including misuse of alcohol, disorderly conduct, drug use, theft, hazing, harassment (verbal or physical), threatening behavior, physical assault, vandalism, excessive noise, residence hall visitation, etc. This form should also be used to report a student for disruptive classroom behavior. Report a Student Conduct ViolationAcademic Honesty Code violations include, but are not limited to, cheating, aiding others in the act of cheating, falsifying, altering, or misusing a document for academic purposes, and plagiarizing others work. Use this form to report academic dishonesty or visit this site for additional resources.
Report an Academic Honesty ViolationInterpersonal violence includes dating violence, domestic violence, sexual harassment, sexual assault, and stalking. The Office of Affirmative Action / Equal Employment Opportunity and Title IX addresses these concerns. A report can be made here by any individual who has experienced sexual misconduct, who has been affected by sexual misconduct, or who has knowledge of sexual misconduct happening to or affecting someone else. Report Relationship or Interpersonal Violence, or Sexual MisconductThe Bias Education and Response Team (BERT) reviews reports of bias-related events, incidents, behavior or actions. This form should be used to report incidents of bias. A bias incident involves actions committed against or directed toward another person or property that are motivated, in whole or in part, by a bias against race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender expression, gender identity, national or ethnic origin, age, disability, or other protected class. Report a Bias IncidentHazing is any action taken or situation created intentionally or unintentionally whether on or off campus, to produce mental or physical discomfort, embarrassment, harassment, or ridicule...or other activities which are not consistent with organizational laws, ritual, or policy or the regulations and policies of the educational institution. Actions, forced or required or implied to be required, which violate federal, state, or local law, are considered hazing. This form should be used to report potential acts of hazing that may violate University policy and / or Alabama state law. Reports made using this form are referred to Student Conduct and Greek Life, if applicable, for review.
Report a Hazing IncidentFaculty and staff identified as Campus Security Authorities (CSA’s) are required to report criminal offenses that occur on the university’s Clery Geography. The Clery Act requires universities to share information about campus safety and security practices, crime, and fire statistics.
