My name is Anna Grace Hay, and I am a senior at Auburn University majoring in Event Management with a minor in Business. Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, I started college as a business major but quickly discovered my true passion for hospitality. After learning about Auburn’s renowned hospitality program, I switched majors and began pursuing my dream of event planning. My journey in hospitality began in high school while working at Greystone Country Club, where I developed a love for creating memorable guest experiences. Since then, I’ve gained hands-on experience as a concierge at the Spa at Grand National, a Four Diamond Resort. These roles helped me refine my event logistics, planning, and problem-solving skills. The courses at Auburn have equipped me with the knowledge and tools to plan, execute, and evaluate events effectively. I’m excited to contribute to the 2024 Hospitality Gala and help create an unforgettable experience. I graduate in August 2025, and I look forward to continuing to grow my passion for event planning!
