My name is Anna Phillips, and I’m from Florence, Alabama. I’m a senior majoring in Hospitality Management with a concentration in Event Management, and I’m also minoring in Business. The moment I took my first class in the hospitality program, I knew I was exactly where I needed to be. In addition to the exceptional education, Auburn has been an amazing place to grow my passion for this industry through the hands-on experience I’ve gotten with Auburn Athletics. For the past two years, I’ve been working with the Special Events Department, and last semester, I was the Administrative Events Intern. Both roles have given me the chance to dive deeper into event planning and really sharpen my skills. I’m super excited about this year’s Hospitality Gala—it’s a great opportunity to take my event planning experience to the next level, collaborate with my peers, and continue learning and growing in this field!
