Hi, my name is Anna Carmichael. I am from a small town a short drive North of Auburn, Lanett, AL. I've always wanted to attend Auburn, but it took some time to figure out what I wanted to major in. In the first semester of my sophomore year, I worked at Walt Disney World. I fell in love with the hospitality industry. Now, here I am as an Auburn University senior majoring in Event Management and minoring in Business Administration, loving every moment. Not only am I a full-time student, but I also choose to spend my free time gaining experience within the hospitality industry further to advance my skills, knowledge, and abilities. I am a Guest Experience Expert and Event Assistant at The Laurel Hotel and Spa. This past semester, I had the opportunity to complete my internship with the Auburn Athletics Special Events Department. In the coming months, I will spend a week assisting with the 2024 Masters Tournament. Along with these opportunities, planning and executing the 2024 Hospitality Gala will be another great learning opportunity to expand my knowledge. War Eagle!
