Hello, my name is Chelsea Farmer. I am a senior at Auburn University pursuing a degree in Event Management and a minor in Business. My parents love to host friends and family, so from the time I was little, I would plan and prepare for guests who were to come. I enjoy the beginning stages of the event process. However, my favorite part is seeing the guests' enjoyment. This goes for the Gala as well. It is a joy and honor to be part of this impeccable event's planning and preparation process. This opportunity challenges me logistically, creatively, and communicatively. It stretches my knowledge and understanding of how events are managed and executed. The essential skills I gain from this experience will better help me with the events I will someday work on my own. Thank you, Auburn University, for this hands-on experience!
