My name is Ema Smith, and I'm an aspiring event planner & florist from Madison, Alabama. I'm a senior here at Auburn, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management with a major in Event Management and a minor in Business. I fell in love with the hospitality and event planning industry at a young age—four years old, to be exact—when I participated in a wedding as a flower girl. Next thing you know, I was begging the church to let me volunteer on the hospitality committee when I was just five years old. I've been eagerly waiting to take this class since freshman year, and I am so excited that the time is finally here! I'm especially looking forward to showcasing the floral & event design skills that I've acquired from my education. I cannot wait to collaborate with my classmates in bringing to life the 30th annual Hospitality Gala!
