My name is Sandia Kapissa, and I am originally from Papua, Indonesia. I am a senior student at Auburn University, pursuing a major in Hospitality Event Management and a minor in Business. My journey at Auburn began with a role as a food service worker, one of the humble beginnings that laid the foundation for my passion for events and Hospitality. Working with people and organizing events has become a true calling for me. Currently, I am working as an Event Operation Team member at the Melton Student Center at Auburn University. Working there has provided me with invaluable experience in understanding the intricacies of event preparation and execution. Interacting with diverse individuals during events has been a source of joy and knowledge, allowing me to expand my understanding of Hospitality and the world around me. This year, I am really excited and looking forward to working and learning together with everyone for the Hospitality Gala that is going to be in April.
