My name is Sydney McCurley. I am a senior majoring in Hospitality- Event Management. I did not choose this major, it chose me. Growing up, I loved planning family events. Not only is the party planning aspect fun, but I really enjoy serving others. When I came to Auburn I enrolled in a different major. It was not the right path for me. Luckily I found the Hospitality Program. Through this program I have fueled my knowledge for the hospitality industry, as well as gained invaluable experience for my future. I hope to work at a facility that hosts a wide variety of events. My goal is to create a holistic experience for clients with each event.
