Auburn's Mortar Board chapter earns national recognition for leadership, innovation

Auburn University’s Mortar Board chapter has earned national distinction with three top awards from the Mortar Board National College Honor Society, highlighting the chapter’s exceptional achievements in academics, leadership, service and campus impact.

• Gold Torch Award – Recognizing sustained excellence in scholarship, leadership and service.
• Inclusive Excellence Award – Celebrating the chapter’s efforts to build belonging and community through inclusive programming.
• Project Excellence Award – Honoring the success of Park Like a Dean, a creative fundraising initiative led by Auburn students.

These accolades place Auburn among a select group of institutions nationwide honored by Mortar Board in 2025.
