SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT I
Listening Activities and Reflections
Due: September 21                    

      Step I. Do the listening activities online for the chapters listed below in the basal text for the target language that you plan to teach. Photocopy the activities and complete them as if you were the student.  
              Dos Mundos--Paso B and Capitulo 9, or

              Deux Mondes--Deuxieme Etape and Chapitre 7, or

              Kontakte--Einfuhrung B and Kapitel 8.
      Step II. As you listen to the comprehension activities decide upon the function and response from Lund's Matrix that you believe are most appropriate for the activity. Explain why you have chosen these functions and responses. Write this information on a separate piece of paper. 

      Step III. When you have completed Steps I, and II, write your reflections concerning the above activities. In your reflections refer to Lund's Matrix. Base your reflections on the readings we have done in Omaggio Hadley, Teaching in Context (pp 182-203). 

      Note: Make sure that I receive the completed listening activities from both chapters listed above along with your summary that will include Steps II and III.
