Part I: Hard Copy Picture File: Prepare a picture file with at least five categories based on topics from Paso A in Dos Mundos or Premiere Etape - in Deux Mondes.  All categories should be clearly labeled. Each category should include a minimum of 10 pictures.  In addition, they should be mounted neatly on heavy stock colored construction paper.  Please do not fill up your picture file with clip art. These pictures must not be duplicates of pictures in the digital portion of your picture file.  See examples below. Please print the checklist below, fill in your name, label the categories, and include it with your picture file. Note 1:  Do not turn in pictures with writing all over them. Trim your pictures to get rid of the writing.   If there is some writing in the target language that does not distract from the picture I will accept those. Part II:  Digital Copy Picture File: The second part of the portfolio will be a digital collection of practical and easily accessible images that can be built to support communicative instruction and activities. You must follow all guidelines as specified. The end result will be the submission of a single link that will allow Dr. Barry to view and share all created files. Setup: See instructions covering Google Drive and creating an online filing system.  Keep in mind that you may also download Google Drive on your smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop but you must have an existing Google account first. Guidelines: 1. Create a folder in Google Drive. Label it “Digital Portfolio”. 2a. French: Using Deux Mondes search through “Deuxième étape” to determine four categories of images you will need to successfully create input and/or output activities for your "School Unit Plan" and add a 5th category of personality traits. 2b. Spanish: Using Dos Mundos search through "Paso B" and Chapters One and Two to determine four categories of images you will need to successfully create input and/or output activities for your "School Unit Plan and add a 5th category of         personality traits. 3. Once you have determined your four categories, create a folder for each category within the Digital Portfolio folder. *Select categories that logically need to be well-supported by images and will be transferable beyond the lesson. 4. Search for vibrant, colorful and clear images that are easily identifiable and meet the size requirements. *It is a great idea to do a quick “check” using your students to see if they identify the image with the same concept you wish to represent. 5. Move each image to your file by dragging it directly into your Drive or to your desktop, then to the appropriate folder in Drive. 6. Once you have created all your files, you need to share your digital portfolio file with Dr. Barry. Select the folder you wish to share and click the share button. A link will be provided that can be copied and pasted. This is all you will need to share. Be sure to test the link before you send it.
