Instruction ● Assist in courses in both Fall (CTSE 8980, 8950, 7920, 7540, 7910, 6220, 4070) and Spring (CTSE 8980, 8950, 7920, 7910, 7530, 6220, 4920, 4080) for the foreign language education programs. ● Teach demonstration lessons in Spanish and/or French for these courses, providing authentic modeling of high-leverage teaching practices (HLTPs) and the instructional frameworks we have developed at AU. ● Support lesson planning, material preparation, and small-group facilitation for pre-service and in-service language teachers enrolled in these courses. ● Assist in evaluating recorded classroom observations and structured feedback cycles to enhance instructional quality. 2. Student Learning & Program Support ● Lead instructional sessions, discussion groups, and/or labs to support student learning. ● Provide structured tutoring, individualized feedback, and/or language support for students in the foreign language education programs. ● Create and facilitate classroom activities, guided practice, and individualized feedback to enhance development of effective language teaching. ● Assist in completing paperwork and maintaining records required for school-based field experiences and other activities related to the foreign language programs. 3.
