Title: Eigenvalue problems on graphs and homogeneous functions on cones
Abstract: The local structure of functions is often studied with homogeneous approximations. And when the functions being studied solve a partial differential equation, the homogeneous approximations often come from an associated eigenvalue problem. We’ll see how this whole process works in an example of harmonic functions on simplicial complexes.
