Speaker: Pete Johnson Title: Some curious results concerning certain geometrically defined hypergraphs
Abstract: The geometrically defined hypergraphs will be uniform hypergraphs on the points of a finite dimensional normed space whose (hyper)edges are all the sets of points congruent to one of a finite set of “m-gons,” which are just m-subsets of the space. There will just be time for the statement and proof of one of several curious results about these things, all entirely due to 3 of our 2023 REUers. |
