
The eagle flying before Auburn’s home football games is a tradition uniquely Auburn. Be sure to be in your seats at least 25 minutes before kickoff to ensure you arrive in time to see these flights!

The Auburn University Raptor Center is open to the public by private appointment only. Availability varies, so schedule early. Tours last about an hour and include an up-close look at an eagle. As a non-profit, we charge a fee to support our education and conservation work. Schedule online by submitting a program request.

Football, Fans and Feathers is held by the Auburn University Raptor Center on Fridays before home football games at 4:00 p.m. Open to the public, it’s a chance to see raptors, including an eagle, up close. The free-flight show features birds flying over the crowd. Afterward, guests can take photos with the raptors. Admission is $8; children 3 and under are free.
