The Cary Center Nonprofit Affiliate Program fosters
a community of educators, professionals, organizations
and students who have a desire to embody philanthropy,
nonprofit studies and leadership in their professional
and personal lives. We provide professional development
and networking opportunities to members to include Mix
& Mingles, the Cary Center Volunteer Internship & Career
Fair – Meet Me at the VIC – and the Cary Center Nonprofit Summit.
Volunteers in Philanthropy encourages,
supports and enhances volunteerism through
leadership education and community service.
The VIP empowers participants to make a positive
impact by educating them in volunteerism,
philanthropy and nonprofit organizations.
The Student Philanthropy Board encourages, supports
and empowers college students to reach their full
potential and make a lasting impact through service
learning opportunities. The Cary Center engages in
research designed to understand and improve the impact
of nonprofits, the importance of philanthropy
and the value of understanding money management.
The
Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies Minor and Major
educates undergraduate students as participants in
philanthropy and leaders empowered in the nonprofit process.
Philanthropy and Nonprofit Minor and Major students become
competitive candidates for careers and graduate education.
