SoTL Tank Competition Details

The Submission deadline has been extended to Monday, March 21 at 5 p.m. We are looking forward to your submissions! Any questions? Please email Dr. Sylvia E. Rogers at ser0043@auburn.edu.

Do you have a great idea for a SoTL project? Do you want feedback from SoTL experts? Attendees are encouraged to submit proposals for the opportunity to present during SoTL Tank, a competition loosely based on Shark TankĀ®, a popular television show. Qualitative, quantitative, and mixed method research designs are eligible. The SoTL Tank competition will occur Thursday, June 9.

Finalists will present their project before attendees and three judges who are SoTL experts. Judges will select one overall winning project which will be awarded $500 and be presented with a plaque. Additionally, the audience favorite will be recognized with a plaque. It is possible that the overall winner and audience favorite could be the same.

SoTL Tank Competition Proposal Submission Process:

  1. All SoTL Tank proposals must be submitted by March 16, 2022, by 5:00 p.m. CT.
