Elections ResourcesElections Council
Elections Council is the student-led group that works to make the elections process possible. They are also responsible for the Elections kick-off that occurs before elections week and election day.
The Elections Council helps with the coordination and organization of elections procedure throughout the year. Elections Council members attend bi-weekly meetings and work as a team with members of the SGA Communications and Marketing team to effectively publicize elections in both the spring and fall. Applicants must be a Sophomore, Junior or Senior in good academic standing (2.5 Cumulative GPS or better). Selected applicants will be ineligible to run for any position or support any candidate in both fall and spring elections. This is a year-long position with a heavy time commitment during the weeks leading up to and during elections. Duties of council members are listed in the SGA Code of Lays, Section 702.4. Elections Board
Elections Board is the ruling body that ensures all elections are run fairly and in accordance with the regulations set forth by the SGA Constitution and Code of Laws.
Applicants must be a Junior or Senior in good academic standing (2.5 Cumulative GPA or better). Applicants cannot be involved in any other position in SGA. Selected members of the Elections Board will be ineligible to run for any position or support any candidate in both fall and spring elections.
