Teams within the Initiatives Branch

Academic Affairs: 

  • Advocates on topics regarding the student experience relating to Academic Affairs.
  • Oversees initiatives pertaining to academic advising, educational support services, course registration, the Ralph B. Draughon Library, Reading Days, the AU Syllabus Bank, etc.
  • Gathers feedback on the student experience relating to Academic Affairs, conducts peer benchmarking/research, and presents relevant findings to administrators.

Athletics:

  • Advocates on topics regarding the student experience relating to Athletics.
  • Oversees initiatives pertaining to all of Auburn Athletics and the Organizational Seating Program.
  • Gathers feedback on the student experience relating to Athletics, conducts peer benchmarking/research, and presents relevant findings to administrators.

Campus Life:

  • Advocates on topics regarding the student experience relating to Campus Life.
  • Oversees initiatives pertaining to Campus Dining, University Housing, etc.
  • Gathers feedback on the student experience relating to Campus Life, conducts peer benchmarking/research, and presents relevant findings to administrators.

Health and Wellness:

  • Advocates on topics regarding the student experience relating to the mental health and wellness of students.
  • Oversees initiatives pertaining to the growth and spread of mental health and wellness resources, as well as relations with Campus Rec.
  • Gathers feedback on the student experience relating to health and wellness, conducts peer benchmarking/research, and presents relevant findings to administrators.

University Operations:

  • Advocates on topics regarding the student experience relating to University Operations.
  • Oversees initiatives pertaining to Campus Safety, Facilities Projects, Information Technology, Parking and Transportation, etc.
  • Gathers feedback on the student experience relating to University Operations, conducts peer benchmarking/research, and presents relevant findings to administrators.
