COSAM Pre-Health Advising Program
Health professions careers are very rewarding and satisfying, but you need to begin determining if this is the right career for you.
Begin to ask yourself the following questions:
1. Do I enjoy working with people including those from other ethnic, racial and cultural backgrounds?
2. Do I possess a curiosity for science and research?
3. Do I understand and appreciate the relationship between the patient and the health care provider?
4. Do I enjoy being a team player, am I dedicated to my work and am I willing to be a life-long learner?
5. Am I willing to sacrifice and work hard to achieve my goals?
