Safe Harbor Benefits from Employee Appreciation Week Drive
Employee Appreciation Week is a yearly event to celebrate the hard work and dedication of Auburn employees. This week-long event provides an opportunity for the university and departments to express their gratitude towards their staff in a variety of ways.
During last year's Employee Appreciation Week, the focus was not only on celebrating employees but also on giving back to the Auburn family. One of the week's initiatives was the Safe Harbor drive, where employees came together to support students and employees of Auburn University who have experienced various forms of sexual or interpersonal violence.
Employees were asked to donate new, full-sized, and unused toiletries at locations across campus. The drive was a resounding success, with 1,125 items collected for Safe Harbor. This collective effort demonstrated our employees' commitment to making a positive impact beyond the workplace.
This year's Employee Appreciation Week will be held from April 28 to May 2. Additional details are available on the UHR website.
